PURPOSE:To obtain a copying device which can collect the data of the abnormal state, function, etc., of the copying device, and a history, on an external device side, only on periodical data transmission from the copying device. CONSTITUTION:The copying device has the copying control means 800 controlling the copying action, a communication control means 900 executing exchange with the external device via a communicating line 908, a data storage means 803 provided on the copying control means 800 and storing the data on the copying control means 800 and information related to the data, transfer means 805 and 907 performing a data transfer between the copying control means 800 and the communication control means 900, and transmits the data of the copying control means stored in the data storage means 803 and the information related to the data to the external device by the communication control means 900. |
