<p>PURPOSE:To automatically stop the cart when the cart reaches the boundary of an off-limits area by controlling the brake of the cart when a magnetic sensor, electric field intensity sensor, or photoreceptor sensor detects magnetism, electricity, or light. CONSTITUTION:Antennas AL and AR for receiving electric signals from a transmitter TX carried by a golfer are mounted on the left-and right-side sections of the golf cart 2 at an appropriate interval and, at the same time, the antenna AI for off-limits areas are also mounted on the rear section of the cart 2. A prescribed reactive area in which the movement of the cart 2 can react to the signals from the transmitter TX is set. When the cart 2 reaches the position shown in the figure, the cart 2 is controlled so that the cart 2 can move by tracking the transmitter TX only when the transmitter TX is on the inside of the farthest limit 50 shown by the dotted line and on the outside of the nearest limit 51 shown by the alternate long and two short dashes line and off-limits area 52 shown by the alternate long and short dash line. On the other hand, when the transmitter TX moves to the outside of the farthest limit 50, inside of the nearest limit 51, or inside of the off-limits area 52, the cart 2 is controlled to stop.</p> |
