PURPOSE: To provided a multilayer capacitor of high-voltage resistance which is manufactured and assembled with ease and at low cost. CONSTITUTION: A multilayer capacitor 10 comprises plural first layers 12, which constitute a first group and plural second layers 14, which constitute a second group. The first layer 12 comprises a first metal film 18 on a dielectric base body 16, and the second layer 14 comprises a second metal film 22 on a dielectric base body 20. The first metal film 18 comprises, from a side end 24 of the first layer 12 toward a other side end 26, an end division 18a, an intermediate division 18b, and an end metal zone 34, while a non-metal lane 36 and a non-metal zone 32 provided among them. The second metal film 22 has, from a side end 30 of the second layer 14 toward an other side end 28, a similar to the configuration as above. If there are three provided, for example duplicate regions (a) of the first and second metal films as in the figure, dielectric breakdown strings at both ends of a series capacitor molded from them becomes three fold. |
