PURPOSE:To surely detect a toner end state at low cost by detecting the toner end state of a toner replenishing part with the result of the calculation of a toner calculating means. CONSTITUTION:This image forming device has the toner consumption calculating means 1 converting multilevel data into toner consumption area data, and obtaining toner consumption data by this toner consumption area data, and a toner end state detecting means 2 detecting the toner end state of the toner replenishing part by the result of the calculation of the toner consumption calculating means 1. Further, it is composed of a means 3 converting the multilevel data into the toner consumption area data by the toner consumption calculating means 1 and counting it, and the toner end state detecting means 2 is composed of a means 4 detecting the toner end state of the toner replenishing part by integrating the counted value of the toner consumption calculating means 1 and detecting that the integrated value reaches a prescribed toner end level. |
