PURPOSE:The tilted composition usable in a field of foods, drugs, etc., comprising an extract from rice bran and a specific highly unsaturated oil. CONSTITUTION:A composition having improving action on serum lipid, compris ing an extract from rice bran (obtained from rice bran or steam deodorized scum obtained as a by-product in purification of rice bran oil/ main component is triterpene alcohol such as cycloartanol, 24-methylcycloartanol, etc.), and one or more of highly unsaturated oil containing <=3 double bonds in the mole cule (e.g., fish oil containing eicosapentaenoic acid, or vegetable oil containing linolenic acid). A ratio of the rice bran extract and-the highly unsaturated oil is 1:500-1:2, and the composition may be blended with other drug raw materials. Tablet, capsule,powder, solution, paste, etc., may be used as the dosage form. |
