PURPOSE:To obtain an emulator which can trace routine only while main routine is executed. CONSTITUTION:A memory 18 for detecting an instruction word is provided in order to detect whether a program in the course of execution is executing the main routine or not, and flag information is set beforehand at the addresses of the memory 18 for detecting the instruction word corresponding to the instruction words to instruct the access of the main routine and sub routine. A trace memory part 8 is controlled by a control part 20 so as to trace the routine only while the main routine is being executed based on information outputted from this memory 18 in the course of the execution of the program. |
