PURPOSE:To provide a motor controller with which a smoothing capacitor on the output side of a rectifier circuit which rectifies an AC power supply can be eliminated and the size of the controller can be reduced and, further, the upper limit of an operating temperature can be eliminated and the life of the motor can be extended. CONSTITUTION:A motor control circuit has a rectifier circuit 16 which rectifies an AC power supply and a switching circuit 18 which applies the output of the rectifier circuit 16 to a motor 19 by switching. A voltage detecting circuit 17 which detects the output voltage of the rectifier circuit 16 and a controller 10 which calculates a voltage applied to the motor 19 and controls the switching pattern of the switching circuit 18 in accordance with the calculated voltage and the detected voltage of the voltage detecting circuit 17 are added to the motor control circuit. |
