<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the degradations of the image quality an sound quality at other record and reproduction time by providing an autotracking device with tracking position control corresponding to each envelop variation characteristic of a video signal and a sound signal. CONSTITUTION:The best values of tracking at each envelop level of the video signal and the sound signal are detected by positions 31, 34 and the tracking deviation amount is rendered to discriminate 36 that it is within the specified range with the position difference detection 33 between the tracking best values together with limited point detections 32, 35 of each envelop level and with the tracking position control 38, the sound signal is controlled at the tracking position prior to the video signal when the deviation amount is small and it is controlled at the tracking position of the video signal when the deviation amount is large and also the sound signal is controlled by switching to a transverse track regeneration.</p> |
