PURPOSE:To provide the document preparing device capable of easily preparing high quality documents equivalent to publications by a general author without any special knowledge of composition. CONSTITUTION:A text composition information storage part 12 stores text composition information on the text of the document to be prepared, and a special composition information storage means 13 stores special composition information about headlines, items, footnotes, and references other than the text. When a character code is normally inputted from a character code input means 40, an allocation processing means 15 allocates this based on the text composition information. However, when a character code is inputted from the character code input means 40 with the special code from a special code input means 50, this is allocated based on the special composition information. The result of allocation is held in a picture data storage means 11, displayed on a display means 20, and printed by a printing means 30. |
