PURPOSE:To enable a memory to hold a current number of mounting parts always by a method wherein the initial number of mounting parts is previously stored in the memory, and the number of mounting parts stored is rewritten in the memory at each unloading operation receiving signals outputted from the control device of a part mounting equipment. CONSTITUTION:The name and the initial number of mounting parts are written in a memory 11 through communication between a read/write means 23 of a part control section and a receiving/transmitting 13 of a record processing section 10 of a part cassette. In a part mounting operation, a control section 8 of a part mounting equipment transmits part unloading signals from a receiving/transmitting section 16 at each unloading operation. Then, the transmitted signal concerned is received by the receiving/transmitting means 13 of the record processing section 10 of the part cassette. In succession, a process/ computation means 12 reads out the number of mounting parts stored in the memory means 11 and subtracts one by one to rewrite the number of mounting parts stored in the memory means 11. |
