<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an optical writing device which has less occupying capacity including a space required for forming an image, and integral structure, and is conveniently handled by using a refractive index distribution type self- convergency glass as a part or the whole of a vacuum vessel. CONSTITUTION:An anode electrode 3 is constituted so as to transmit light, the refractive index distribution type self-convergency glass 11 is used as a part or the whole of a sealing vessel 2. Thus, the anode electrode 3 is constituted so as to transmit the light, so that the light projected from a phosphor 4 can be taken out of the side of the anode electrode 3, and simultaneously, the image can be formed by a rod lens used as a substrate, as well. Since the phosphor can be adjoined to the rod lens, a distance between the rod lens and a photosensitive body can be shortened, and the occupying capacity as the whole including the space for forming the image can be reduced. Moreover, the vacuum vessel and the rod lens are integrated into one body, so that handling at the time of assembling, etc., is easy, as well.</p> |
