<p>PURPOSE:To improve starting responsiveness of supercharging and enable compactness of an intake whole body including a supercharger and an intercooler, in an internal combustion chamber provided with a supercharger driven by a crank shaft. CONSTITUTION:A supercharger Sc is arranged below an intake manihold 2 attached to an engine main body E, and also an intercooler Ic is parallelly arranged outside the intake manihold 2 and supercharger Sc. The discharge port 7 of the supercharger Sc is directly connected to the inlet 7 of the intercooler Ic, and the outlet 18 of the intercooler Ic is connected to the intake manihold via a throttle valve 24.</p> |
