PURPOSE:To make it possible to set several workpieces on a conveyer, by forming the intermediate section of a conveying path for a conveying means in such a shape that it caves into inward of work station, and by forming a holder in an external shape in conformity with the conveying path for the conveying means. CONSTITUTION:A part of WL1 of a conveying path facing an automatic work changer 22 is linear, and parts WL2, WL4 upstream and downstream of the part WL1 are also linear. Further, a part WL3 caves into toward the center CP of the work station 21, having a V-like shape. Further, the external shape of a holder 49 for a conveyer is in conformity with the conveying path WL for the conveyer. With this arrangement the conveying path WL having the above-mentioned shape, it is possible to make the overall length of the conveyer path WL longer than that of a simple rectangular shape conveyer path. Accordingly, it is possible to set many more work holders and workpieces W on the conveyer. |
