The invention relates to a braking system operating on the feedback principle and, for both ABS and ASR functions has a shared, self-priming pump (14) which takes fluid from the pressure medium reservoir (2) via the master cylinder (1) in the ASR case. In diagonally-divided braking circuits the formation of underpressure in the wheel brake (8) of the undriven wheel is prevented according to the invention in that two return valves (20, 21) and an auxiliary line (22) are fitted. With the ASR isolating valve (4) closed, these make it possible for pressure medium to be fed from the intake side of the pump (14) only to the wheel brake (8) of the undriven wheel, while the release of pressure can take place only to the discharge side of the pump (14). |
