<p>A humidifying additive for imparting properties which usually result from the use of urea to textile finishing compositions to prevent nitrogen release. Said additive consists of a water-soluble polymer having a high molecular weight, advantageously 50,000-4,000,000. In a preferred embodiment, the humidifying additive consists of hyaluronic acid or a salt thereof. Textile finishing compositions consisting of a basic mixture and at least one such humidifying additive are also provided.</p> |
