ULTRASONIC DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To provide an ultrasonic diagnosing apparatus for diagnosing and treating the closure or constriction in a blood vessel without injection of a physiological saline into the blood vessel. CONSTITUTION:A turbine 3 wrapped in the tip of a catheter 2 is rotated with the movement of a fluid by fluid injection and discharge means 4 and 5 and 15-18 to oscillate an ultrasonic vibrator 1 through a drive cam 11. An ultrasonic wave to be emitted from the ultrasonic vibrator 1 is made to hit an atheroma 26 to detect the ultrasonic wave being reflected for image processing thereby obtaining an ultrasonic tomographic image of the atheroma 26 with a simple system.
