<p>PURPOSE:To store liquefied natural gas on the sea by reliquefying vaporized gas constantly generated from a storage tank for liquefied natural gas on the sea. CONSTITUTION:Propane from a third compressor 18 is cooled and liquefied in a third condenser 17 by seawater flowing in a seawater cooling passage 19 in the condenser 17, and the liquefied propane is vaporized in a propane evaporating unit 16. Ethane from a second compressor 14 is cooled and liquefied in a second condenser 13, and the liquefied ethane is vaporized in an ethane evaporator 12. Methane from a first compressor 4 into which vaporized gas is introduced from a storage tank, is cooled in a first condenser 6, and the cooled and liquefied methane is sent from a liquefied natural gas return pipe 7 to a storage tank 1. In this manner the vaporized gas is reliquefied.</p> |
