PURPOSE:To provide the method for obtaining a molding free from defects, such as cracking and bulging, in a degreasing stage of the injection molding of ceramics and metal powders. CONSTITUTION:In the method for kneading the sinterable granular material and a binder at prescribed ratios, injection molding the kneaded matter and removing the above-mentioned binder prior to sintering of the injection molding; (a) the above-mentioned binder consists of a thermoplastic polymer which is soluble in an alcohol solvent and an org. solvent and a thermoplastic polymer which is insoluble therein, (b) the above-mentioned molding is brought into contact with the org. solvent and the org. binder which is soluble in this solvent is first extracted away, (c) the extraction rate of the org. binder is controlled by adjusting the amt. of the org. solvent, and (d) the remaining thermoplastic polymer in the molding is removed by heating decomposition. |
