PURPOSE:To materialize a light amplifier of high signal output and low noise. CONSTITUTION:Two or more light amplifiers 41-4n, which are equipped with pumping light sources 1, wave composers 2, and light waveguide paths 3 which get gain by the induction/discharge actions of the fluorescent substance such as rare earth elements, etc., being mixed in the core parts, are connected in series, and one which has low noise index is used for the light amplifier 41 at the first stage and one which has high conversion efficiency is used for the light amplifier 4n at the last stage. |
