PURPOSE:To present a transmitter and a receiver, where the phase continuity in primary modulation like FSK modulation at the time of transmission of high-speed transmission data is held and the side lobe noise to a convolution waveform is suppressed to prevent the degradation of reception sensitivity, and to present a simple equipment for high-speed data communication of low power consumption using these transmitter and receiver. CONSTITUTION:In the transmitter, a direct digital synthesizer 3 is used as a primary modulation part for primary modulation. The direct digital synthesizer 3 consists of a gate array. In the receiver, gains of the amplifier of a front end circuit and the output amplifier of a correlator for primary demodulation are automatically controlled based on a prescribed control voltage taken out from the output stage. In the receiver, a surface acoustic wave device is used for primary demodulation and secondary modulation. |
