<p>PURPOSE:To provide a print head easy to use at a low cost wherein a circuit structure of the print head and dynamic driving are simplified. CONSTITUTION:In a drive section 1 for driving with time sharing LED array chips LED1-LED64,...LED2496-LED2960 of a plurality of LED arrays LA1-LA40 by one driving element, a common select circuit 7 for switching automatically and sequentially common electrodes C1-C40 of the LED arrays LA1-LA40 synchronizing with a STROBE signal and driving with time sharing is built in addition to a shift register 2, a latch circuit 3, a gate circuit 4, a constant current control circuit 5 and a drive circuit 6. Accordingly, controlling of the common electrodes from the outside and connecting wiring required therefor which were conventionally required will be unnecessary, and a comparatively simple circuit will suffice for the common select circuit.</p> |
