<p>PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of the temperature distribution in the direction of breadth in the rolling process of a metal plate. CONSTITUTION:From a zone temperature sensor 3 and a roll type shape meter 4, the temperature and a relative expansion of the plate when the plate is divided in slit to the breadth direction are taken in as an input information. From this information, the expansion of the metal plate in some time after rolling is calculated, and the bending force of a work roll and a heating pattern in the breadth direction of the plate is corrected so that the shape of the plate at the time is the same as the target values.</p> |
