The subject of the present invention is new fluorinated hexane compounds and their use in industrial synthesis. These cyclohexane compounds have the formula (I) below: <IMAGE> in which X1, X2, X3 and X4, which are alike or different, represent a halogen or a pseudohalogen, advantageously a halogen, preferably chlorine and fluorine; in which R1 represents a hydrogen, a hydrocarbon chain such as, for example, an alkyl chain, an aromatic chain or an alkoxy, carbonyl, carboxyl or acyloxy, or hydroxyl group; in which R4 represents a hydrogen, a fluorine atom or a hydrocarbon chain; in which the radicals R3 and R5, which are different or preferably alike, represent a fluorine, or preferably hydrogen, atom or also hydrocarbon chains; with the additional condition that, when R1 is hydroxyl, all the halogens cannot be simultaneously chlorine or bromine and, when R1 is hydrogen, cyano or amido, all the halogens cannot be simultaneously chlorine.
