PURPOSE:To provide a pneumatic tire which needs no release agent to be applied to the inside surface of the tire in vulcanizing it. CONSTITUTION:A rubber compsn. prepd. by compounding 100 pts.wt. brominated butyl rubber with 0.1-10 pts.wt. polyoxypropylene polyol is used as an inner layer rubber of a pneumatic tire in which the crown part of a carcass is covered by a belt and a tread rubber, the side part by a side wall rubber, and the inner side by the inner layer rubber. The polyoxypropylene polyol migrates to the surface of the inner layer rubber during vulcanization of the tire, acting as a release agent at the surface and facilitating with drawal of the bladder from the tire after vulcanization. |
