REVERSIBLE THERMAL RECORDING SHEET

PURPOSE:To improve the repetition of recording and erasing of information by forming a transparent sheet, recording layer and backing sheet into an integral body while interposing the recording layer in a reversible thermal recording sheet for reversibly changing the transparency of the recording layer composed of matrix polymer in which organic crystalline particles are dispersed. CONSTITUTION:A recording sheet 10, in which a reversible thermal recording layer 2 is formed by coating on a thin transparent sheet 1 having wear resistance, and a thick backing sheet 4 are constituted into a reversible thermal recording sheet by laminating so that the surfaces of the recording layer 2 and the backing sheet 4 coincide with each other via adhesive layer 3. Because the transparent sheet is used as a protective layer, it is possible to realize a reversible thermal record having strong functions both thermally and mechanically and being satisfactory in repetition characteristics.
