PURPOSE:To make erasing and writing a picture image easy by putting a thermoplastic resin body excellent in dye absorption upon the desired part of the surface of a dye picture image formed by a sublimation transfer method in a dye-receiving layer composed of thermoplastic resin and by pressing, heating and thereafter removing the body. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic resin body 3 excellent in dye absorption is put on the desired part 2 of the surface of a dye picture image formed in an image-receiving sheet provided with a dye-receiving layer in at least one surface of a backing sheet and this body 3 is pressed and/or heated and thereafter removed so that the desired part 2 of the picture image is erased. Then, another dye picture image is again formed in the erased part of the picture image by a thermal transfer method as occasion demands. As the thermoplastic resin body 3 excellent in dye absorption, there are used soft vinyl chloride resin, polyvinyl acetate resin, vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer, etc., formed into a film or sheet material with thickness of e.g. several microns to several millimeters and containing a plasticizer. |
