PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive molding mandrel through an end part of which tuning of a resin impregnated fiber can be performed smooth at the time of molding of an FRP pipe joint by a filament winding method. CONSTITUTION:Three pieces of tubular hollow bodies 11 are made of polypropylene by performing blow molding. The hollow bodies are joined temporarily to each other into a cheeselike state by a fitting-in method and a cheeselike mandrel 10 is formed. At the time of the blow molding, a recessed groove 12 is formed annularly in the circumference of an end part of the mandrel. An annular member 20 having a large number of fiber connecting pins 21 on the circumference is fitted into the groove 12. The annualr member 20 is made of the polypropylene by injection molding and a part of the same is notched. The notched part is widened against elasticity and fitted in the recessed groove 12 of the mandrel 10. |
