<p>PURPOSE:To provide a freezing mixture which enables easy temperature control and lasts long and which can be transported together with dissolving water existing therewith. CONSTITUTION:A mass of a salt, e.g. common salt, as the major ingredient for a freezing mixture is covered with a material containing, as a major additive, a surcose/aliphatic acid ester which is a food-hygienically safe substance that is solid in a temperature range of from ordinary temperature to around the freezing point of water and is sparingly soluble in water, and the covering material is solidified. The resulting freezing mixture is packed in a water- permeable bag, thus enabling the freezing mixture to act more midle when in contact with ice and, at the same time, to mitigate the direct contact of the freezing mixture with ice and more effectively inhibit extreme temperature dropping.</p> |
