PURPOSE:To obtain a composition for planetary roller type traction derive mechanism, having excellent durability and resistance to rise in temperature in high-speed revolution, containing a poly-alpha-olefinic synthetic oil as a base oil and a specific diurea compound as a thickening agent. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100 pts.wt. poly-alpha-olefinic synthetic oil as a base oil is blended with (B) usually about 0.3-30 pts.wt. (preferably 7-25 pts.wt.) diurea compound shown by the formula (R1 and R2 are alkyl, cycloalkyl or alkylphenyl) to give the objective composition. The composition used under a condition of 70-140 kg f/mm<2> facial pressure between a sun shaft and plural planetary rollers and 10-50 m/second peripheral speed of sun shaft. |
