PURPOSE:To realize an LD driving circuit for obtaining an optical output waveform which does not depend upon a variation in a level of a data signal wave in an optical transmitter. CONSTITUTION:An optical transmission system for regulating a central value of a laser diode light output wavelength modulated by a data signal by a reference voltage, comprising reference voltage generating means 4 for generating the reference voltage by an average value extracted from the data signal, thereby so automatically regulating the reference voltage as to hold the laser diode optical output waveform in a wavelength of a predetermined range without depending upon a variation in the data signal. |
