A computer disk drive lock which prevents unauthorized use of the disk drive comprises two separate lock parts (10, 40) which are intended to be inserted into a disk drive one after the other. When inserted, the lock parts lie one above the other and together have a thickness which corresponds essentially to the thickness of a relevant disk. The first lock part (10) has latching hooks (22, 24) which latch behind the guide pins provided in the disk drive for positioning a disk therein. Both lock parts (10, 40) have a limb (14, 54) which when the lock parts are inserted into the disk drive project out from the drive. The limbs are provided with means (34, 56) which enable the two lock parts (10, 40) to be locked together. |
