The compact disc player able to accomodate two discs comprises guide holes (3,4) fixed to a belt (6) by a pin (5), two pins (7,8) inserted into a guide groove (10) of a guide plate (9). A rack gear (11) formed at the side of door discs (1,2) is geared to a timing gear (13) driven by a motor (11) so that the door disc can be drawn out to the door (40) of a main body (40). The motor selectively drives a pick-up lifter (17) and a feeding belt (6) of the door disc to drive a pick-up driving part (15). The pick-up driving part can move up and down by the inclined plane (16) of the pick-up lifter.
