This agent is used in the leather industry, in particular for treating the grain side of shoe leather. The prepared leather is soft, well filled and elastic. The agent contains (in mass p.) : between 113 and 1,113 hydrolysed polyacrylonitrile, between 1.4 and 59.0 sodium carbonate, between 5.7 and 235.0 chromium chloride and/or 52.0 to 739.0 aluminium salt of non-organic acid, and in certain cases between 1.0 and 44.0 of sodium base.
