PURPOSE:To enable execution of simultaneous reception in a plurality of directions by regulating the phase of each reference signal, by superposing received information from two directions based on a simultaneous two-direction reception system and by passing it through a single delay line. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic signal reflected from a point A is received by transducers 2-i and each transducer 2-i converts it into an electric signal. Since a distance from the point A is different between a transducer 2-1 and a transducer 2-4, for instance, on the occasion, a delay line 3-i is so provided as to correspond to the transducers 2-i in order to correct this difference in the distance. By correcting the difference in the distance, in other words, the ultrasonic signal reflected from the point A at the same time is received by each transducer 2-i and then appears at each terminal simultaneously. A channel signal from a multiplier 10 is supplied to the delay line 3, and the multiplied channel signal being superposed is added together and then subjected to frequency separation by a filter 19 made to correspond to the frequency of a reference signal. |
