PURPOSE:To improve the yield of fluorescent screen production in a fluorescent screen producing device for a cathode-ray tube. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of clamp heads 16 capable of autorotating and revolving for holding a panel 15 of a cathode-ray tube are contained, then respective clamp heads 16 are rotatably provided along a tube 12 and the revolving angle of the clamp heads 16 are controlled by a cam groove 35. As the cam groove 35 for revolving, two kinds of grooves such as a first cam groove 35A for setting the revolving angle of the clasp head 16 at respective operation process positions and a second cam groove 35B for transferring the revolving angle of the clamp heads 16 from a revolving angle in an operation state to that in a standby state being formed, and consequently the panel 15 held on the clamp heads 16 is transferred to the standby state by transferring them to the second cam groove 35B upon the occurrence of faults. |
