The invention describes a moulding (1) and a method for its production from foam panels of a soft, optionally flexible foam, having permanently deformed cell membranes (15), at least in certain areas. These consist of foam granules (18), of a soft foam having a particle size of 2 to 20 mm and fillers (17), for example cork granules, rubber granules, chalk, calcium carbonate, rigid polyurethane scrap or thermoplastic scrap of a particle size of 2 to 20 mm, distributed throughout the foam when it is produced.
