PURPOSE:To enable the driven body to be driven rotationally at a constant speed and a constant amount of liquid to be supplied to a power steering by a method wherein a before and after differential pressure by a throttle provided in a discharge passage of a hydraulic pump which is driven by an engine, is controlled in constant by a compensating machine. CONSTITUTION:A liquid is discharged from the hydraulic pump 1 rotationally driven by the engine 2 to the discharge passage 3, and when the before and after differential pressure by the throttle 4 in the discharge passage 3 increases according to an increase of the rotation frequencies of the engine 2, a pilot valve is changed over opposing to a spring 6a, a cylinder chamber 7b is communicated to the discharged passage 3 before stopped to actuate a controlling cylinder 7 and to reduce the discharge amount. If the reduction of the discharge amount makes the before and after differential pressure by the throttle 4 constant, the pilot valve 6 is changed over to stand at a neutral position. If the before and after differential pressure by the throttle 4 in the discharge passage 3 decreases according to a decrease of the rotation frequencies of the engine 2, the pilot valve 6 is changed over opposing to the spring 6a, and the cylinder chamber 7b is communicated to a tank 8 to effect actuation of the controlling cylinder and increase of the discharge amount. |
