A-18613/A/CHM 60 Novel piperidine compounds for use as stabilisers for organic materials of the disclosure The present invention relates to novel piperidine compounds of the formula (I) (I) in which R1 and R3 which are identical or different are hydrogen, Cl-C8aLkyl, O, OH, NO, CH2CN, Cl-C18alkoxy, Cs-C12cycloalkoxy, C3-C6alkenyl, C7-C9phenylalkyl which is unsubstituted or mono-, di- or tri-substituted on the phenyl by Cl-C4alkyl; or Cl-C8acyl and R2 is e.g. Cl-C12alkylene. These compounds are effective stabilisers for organic materials, in particular synthetic polymers, against the actions of light, heat and oxidation.
