PURPOSE:To prevent an equipment from becoming large-scale and costing, to turn the apparatus easy and portable, and to measure the level of the interface easily with eyes. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus is constituted of a sensor part S in the structure of an infrared-detecting optical fiber sensor, a body B of a battery source, and a cable C coupling the sensor part S and the main body B optically by an optical fiber. The operator lowers the sensor part S into a tank T. When the change of the detecting amount of light is detected when the sensor part S reaches the interface of a resin, an LED 28 of the body B is changed from the OFF state to the ON state. A measure 12 is indicated in the cable C. When the LED is turned ON, the operator reads the scale of the measure thereby to know the level of the interface. |
