Label for covering, protecting and signalling, especially for an electrical component such as a power supply cell of the disposable type, or battery, the label consisting of a synthetic film (8) combined with a metallisation layer (9), the label is characterised in that it consists of a single layer of synthetic material (8) arranged on the outer face, associated with an internal metallisation (9), the synthetic layer including, in a sub-face, in contact with the metallisation, impressions (10) visible from the outside by transparency, the metallisation (9) including, on its face opposite the face in contact with the synthetic film, possibly with an interlayer of dielectric material such as an insulating oxide or silicon, a layer of adhesive (13), particularly sensitive to pressure, protected by a siliconed counter-slit (7) for the purposes of sticking the label onto its receiving support, especially the body of the cell.
