摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a control device for a belt type continuously variable transmission which will not cause slippage of a transmission belt even in the case where a driving wheel runs while slip and grip are repeated. CONSTITUTION:When the change width DELTAG of a rotary acceleration does not exceed DELTAGO, ordinary tension control pressure control is executed because an increase value DELTAPG is zero. When it exceeds DELTAGO, however, an increase value DELTAPG is determined according to the change width DELTAG and a speed change ratio gamma, so that the ideal pressure POPT is increased 4 the increase value DELTAPG and the second line oil pressure Pl2 regulated to agree with the ideal pressure POPT is also increased by the above increase. Accordingly, even it the instantaneous slip and grip of a driving wheel 24 are repeatedly caused according to the unevenness of the road surface in running on a bad road, and comparatively large transmission torque is repeatedly applied to a transmission belt 70 in relation thereto, the slippage of the transmission belt 70 can be prevented.
