The idea behind this invention is to protect as many different types of line-connected fluid-conveying, hydraulic, tank and pneumatic systems as possible from damage resulting from exploitation. The aim of the invention is therefore both to prevent the working fluid from escaping from the system and also to prevent the normally unavoidable results of a failure. No restrictions are placed on the flow-control valve with regard to its use, and the physical condition of the working fluid, the system pressure and temperature, and the valve size and material are thus of secondary importance. |
