PURPOSE:To make the secrecy of communication high and to save power consumption by switching to a cable telephone without interrupting a call even if a battery comes to be exhausted during the call via a cordless telephone set. CONSTITUTION:When the master set connecting part 14 of the master set 6 and the slave set connecting part 16 of the slave set 12 in the cordless telephone set are connected, the connection detecting part 22 of the master set 6 and the connection detecting part 24 of the slave set 12 detect the connection. A transmitting/receiving call changing-over switch 18 receiving the detecting output changes over a cable call signal transmitting/receiving part 2 from a radio call signal transmitting/receiving part 4 to the master connecting part 14 and, at the same time, the transmitting/ receiving call changing-over switch 20 receiving the detecting output changes over the cable call signal transmitting/receiving part 10 from the radio call signal transmitting/receiving part 8 to the slave set connecting part 16. Thus, communication secrecy in a call via the cordless telephone set is held. A feeder feeding/interrupting control part 26 interrupts feeding to a transmitting/receiving part 4 by the connection detecting output of the connection detecting part 22 in the master set 6 so that power consumption is saved. |
