PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of pressure surging at the time of starting by providing a bypass line in parallel with a pipe line feeding pressure oil to a hydraulic motor, and thereby driving the hydraulic motor after oil temperature has been increased with working oil supplied to the bypass line when oil is lower in temperature than a specified one. CONSTITUTION:A hydraulically driven air conditioner is equipped with a flow rate changing means 2 which can freely change the set flow rate at a hydraulic source 1 as required, so that the quantity of discharge is kept constant even if the revolution of an engine 8 is changed, and with a hydraulic motor 3 which drives an air conditioning compressor 10. In this case, a bypass line 4 is provided in parallel with a pipe line 11 feeding working oil to the hydraulic motor 3. A relief means 5 relieving pressure is concurrently provided for the bypass line 4. Furthermore, oil temperature in the vicinity of the hydraulic motor 3 is detected by an oil temperature detecting means 6. Both the flow rate changing means 2 and the relief means 5 are controlled by a control means 7 respectively in order to set both the quantity of oil flow at the hydraulic source 1 and relief pressure in response to detected oil temperature. |
