Device which allows the regulation and tuning of the brakes in a simple and efficient manner, allowing the adjustment of the brakes to be exactly identical on all the wheels of the motor vehicle in addition to reducing the manpower involved in this process. The reversible mechanical device for tuning and testing the brakes on motor vehicles consists essentially of: - a metal disc 1 with identically spaced broad orifices 2 which allow fixing of the claws used to fasten the disc 1 to the wheel of the vehicle. The disc 1 has in its centre a hub (cube) 15 where a torque spanner (torque wrench) will apply the required force to the wheel; - a stretcher consisting of two threaded tubes, for ascertaining the length suited to each model of vehicle, in order to guarantee the same pressure on the said pedal during the adjustment process. The interior tube has a ground strip with a graduated scale; - and also by rubber buffers which via a bolt with threaded shank and respective fixing nut adjust the disc 1 to the rim, holding the disc perfectly parallel to the rim.
