PURPOSE:To monitor a fact that a medical treatment focusing acoustic wave hits the target part by constituting the device so that it can receive both an echo of a pulsatory ultrasonic wave transmitted by an ultrasonic transmitter- receiver and an even number fold harmonic signal. CONSTITUTION:In an applicator, ultrasonic transmitter-receivers 5-1, 5-2 are attached to a lesion to be cured, and also, an ultrasonic pulse echo image photographed by a transmitting-receiving amplifier, and a receiving beam scan is superposed and displayed as a two-dimensional tomographic image on a screen. Also, when the transmitter-receivers 5-1 and 5-2 are rotated, a double two-dimensional image is obtained within a range in which two conical areas are superposed. In the vicinity of a focus of an acoustic wave, an even number fold harmonic is generated. This signal is superposed on a pulse echo image and displayed. After confirming a fact that the harmonic generating position matches with the lesion, a regular irradiation of a focusing storing acoustic wave is executed. When it is shifted or a high frequency is small, the irradiation is executed again, while referring to the screen. In such a way, the medical treatment can be executed with high safety. |
