<p>PURPOSE:To offer a mud treating agent and a mud treating method for treating mud (sludge). CONSTITUTION:A hydrating composition consisting of calcium oxide, silicon dioxide, aluminum oxide, etc., is used for treating stack gas containing sulfur oxides, nitrogen oxides, hydrohalogenated compounds, etc., and a mud treating agent alone or its mixture together with an alkaline material is used for treating mud by mixing thereof in air, coating in air, or underwater coating. Strength of mud is increased by the solidification and the generation of the malodor is prevented by the coating in air, and the scattering of dried dust as well as the diffusion of mud and the generation of turbidily are prevented by the underwater coating.</p> |
