METHOD FOR PRODUCING L-THREONINE

A L-threonine is prepd. by culturing Escherichia sp. microbe KFCC 10718 having resistance to methionine analogue (I), L- threonine analogue (II), L-lysine analogue (III) and alpha-amino butyrate, and methione requirement and/or isoleucine leaky requirement. The (I) is DL-ethionine, norleucine, alphamethylmethionine or L-methionine-DL-sulphoximine. The (II) is alpha-amino- beta- hydroxy valeric acid or DL-threonine hydroxamate. The (III) is S-(2-aminoethyl)- L-cysteine or delta-methyl-L-lysine. The L-threonine can be obtd. in good efficiency.
