PURPOSE:To improve processing speed concerning the character display control system to directly write characters or the like onto a frame memory by a CPU. CONSTITUTION:This system is composed of a calculating means 1A to calculate accessable (n) characters according to the access unit of the CPU and character width, preparing means 1B to prepare one line pattern data for the (n) characters in a register 6 by moving the font data of the one line pattern of the (n) characters, which are read out, for each character width, and writing means 1C to write the one line pattern data prepared in the register 6 only for the height of the character into a frame memory 7 corresponding to the (x, y+m) coordinates of a character. |
