PURPOSE:To make the correct orientation of a partial discharge position by using a wideband amplifier, and amplifying and extracting only minute partial discharge pulses. CONSTITUTION:After unwanted frequency components of a partial discharge pulses obtained from a measured cable 1 are eliminated with a high-pass filter and low-pass filter of a wideband amplifier 10, the remaining frequency components are amplified and given to a band elimination filter 11. The filter 11 is made the multi-stage continuation connection, eliminates noises of broadcast waves, etc., by setting frequencies of several band-pass filters to frequencies of noise components of the broadcast waves, etc., and displays to an oscilloscope 5. By this, noises are effectively eliminated and the position at which the partial discharge generates can correctly be made orientation. |
